Upon finishing this course the student will be able to use the tools, scripts and complete required offline database processing prior to setting up a Large Area Database Manager ADF. Student should be able to create an ADF to manage deferred loading of geometry and texture for an LADBM application. The student should be able to write an application initializing LADBM and managing any data manipulation necessary at runtime.


Software engineers who are familiar with real-time application including visual and flight simulation.


This course assumes a reasonable level of practical graphics experience. Students should be familiar with common visual simulation terminology and applications. One or more years of C/C++ programming is desired. This course assumes the student has successfully completed a LynX/Vega course.


Instructor led course with lab book and hands on coding exercises.
