Preparing first responders with visual simulation training applications

Advanced Interactive Systems, Inc., (AIS) delivers comprehensive training solutions, "when lives are on the line". AIS is uniquely capable of pairing technology expertise with extensive field experience to provide law enforcement, military, and public safety personnel with world-class training products and services that protect lives. This application was developed to train fire inspectors and various state and national first responders, such as incident commanders.

The image shows the BBT Bank building in Wilson, NC.The model includes fully furnished, high-fidelity interiors with many multi-state objects, doors, switches, lights, elevators, and similar objects and attributes. The model was built using MultiGen Creator using GIS data, CAD drawings, low-res floor plans, site survey media, and textured from digital photographs, video and satellite imagery. Additional texture libraries and vehicle models came from Marlin Productions, and vegetation was generated from Speedtree. The application is deployed on desktop PC systems with 512RAM and 128MB video cards, requiring realtime databases with complex interiors and objects to be highly optimized.
