Enhanced Modeling Direct From CAD
IGES Transporter, developed by Mothership Technology, allows sophisticated curved surface models which use NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline Surfaces) surfaces to be imported directly into MultiGen-Paradigm's MultiGen Creator. NURBS models, which have traditionally been used only in high-end computer-aided design and manufacturing, are being used more and more in modeling and simulation due to the flexibility they offer and their ability to describe complex shapes. The IGES Transporter module enables files in IGES 5.3 format to be brought into Creator, where they can be viewed and interacted with in a realtime environment or simulation. The degree of tessellation of the models is under the user's control, and the resulting polygon mesh can then be manipulated and processed as part of the OpenFlight scene.

 |
See the Creator web page for basic system requirements |
 |
- If loading large IGES models with polygon counts in excess of 10,000, we recommend:
- At least 1 GHz CPU clock speed or higher
- 512 Mb of RAM or higher
