Creator Terrain Studio to embed Safe Software's FME Objects Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation & Education Conference (I/ITSEC) - Orlando, FL. - December 2, 2002 - MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc., the leading provider of realtime 3D software solutions, announced an agreement with Safe Software® to embed Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) Objects in the next version of Creator Terrain Studio. FME Objects is an application program interface (API) that enables applications to directly read, transform and write various GIS and CAD data formats. This agreement with Safe Software will enhance Creator Terrain Studio's vector data support by delivering powerful and accurate translation and transformation tools. "We are proud that MultiGen-Paradigm chose to embed FME Objects into its Creator Terrain Studio product," said Fil Vera, FME Objects Project Team Leader at Safe Software. "Teaming our software with MultiGen-Paradigm's industry-leading realtime 3D visualization software provides a win-win to our users." Creator Terrain Studio processes and manages data for the creation of complex visual simulation databases. The tool captures the workflow process and catalogs meta-data about datasets based on MultiGen-Paradigm's MetaFlight schema to facilitate shorter development and production cycles and enable the reuse of data. The embedded solution now offered through FME Objects will ensure the most accurate translation of vector data formats, further streamlining the workflow process. "Over the past two years, we've maintained a successful alliance with Safe Software as a reseller of their FME Professional products, choosing FME Objects was a natural choice for Creator Terrain Studio," said Jon Zucker, Creator Terrain Studio product manager for MultiGen-Paradigm. "FME Objects delivers a new level of functionality to Creator Terrain Studio that will allow our customers to utilize an expanded offering of vector data with confidence and accuracy."
