Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) - Orlando, FL - December 1, 2003 - MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc., a leading provider of realtime 3D visual simulation software solutions, today announced Vega Prime v1.2.1. Vega Prime is an extendible, cross-platform, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) C++ development environment that includes MultiGen-Paradigm's advanced low-level scene graph VSG (Vega Scene Graph), as well as a high level abstraction API, delivering a wide range of scalable and customizable features designed for visual simulation, sensor simulation, simulation based training, and urban simulation. The functionality delivered with Vega Prime v1.2.1 includes multiple performance enhancements as well as the addition of support for SGI® IRIX® and Primary Image's Fabriano 3D image generator. In addition, this latest release delivers Vega Prime Light Lobes and the Path API. "C-ITS has been using Vega for about four years.
