MULTIGEN-PARADIGM APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT
New appointments to focus on innovation and leadership in 3D visualization

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Nov. 16, 2000-MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc., the leading developer of realtime 3D solutions, announced today that Sandeep Divekar has been appointed president of MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc. Divekar comes to MultiGen-Paradigm from Computer Associates International, Inc. where he was a senior vice president for visualization strategy.Concurrently, MultiGen-Paradigm announced that Michael Lundberg, formerly of Viewpoint Digital, has assumed the role of senior vice president of sales and marketing.Also, Chris Hawkins has been appointed vice president of sales and Michael Sivret has been appointed international sales manager. These appointments will enable MultiGen-Paradigm to continue the momentum for services and products in the visual simulation market."Sandeep's 14 years of experience and vision for the 3D industry positions him to accelerate the pace of innovation at MultiGen-Paradigm," said Sanjay Kumar, President and CEO, Computer Associates. "His broad range of expertise in applying 3D to e-commerce, entertainment and architectural solutions will enable MultiGen-Paradigm to move one step closer to achieving its vision to transform the way people learn, interact, communicate and conduct business through visualization environments."

Before joining Computer Associates, Divekar was the CEO and co-founder of 3Name3D Inc., which was acquired by Computer Associates in October 1998. He has an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Bombay and a graduate education in Urban Design from the Southern California Institute of Architecture and Computer Aided Design at UCLA's Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning. He was also on the adjunct faculty at the University of Southern California teaching cyberspace design.

Lundberg, senior vice president of sales and marketing, brings to MultiGen-Paradigm a track record of successes in sales, marketing and operations in an array of companies from venture-backed start-ups to established Fortune 100 firms. Prior to joining MultiGen-Paradigm, he was president for Viewpoint Digital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Computer Associates International, Inc., and the leader in delivering quality 3D content to the entertainment, advertising and broadcast markets. Before joining Viewpoint, he was vice president of marketing and sales at CallWare Technologies and vice president of Cambric Graphics Corporation. Lundberg also spent several years in both line and staff positions at GTE. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Utah.

Hawkins, now vice president of sales, was formerly the international sales manager for MultiGen-Paradigm where he focused his efforts on increasing the company growth worldwide while developing and strengthening relationships with distributors. Hawkins also held the title of central region sales manager for several years before turning to international sales. Prior to working with MultiGen-Paradigm, Hawkins was a high school math and computer science teacher for ten years in upstate New York.

Sivret, the newly appointed international sales manager, was previously the director of international sales for MAK Technologies.Prior to MAK, Sivret was the southeastern sales manager for MultiGen-Paradigm.
