FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE For more information, please contact: Stephanie Groswirt MultiGen-Paradigm Announces Expanded Sensor Product Suite San Jose, Calif., April 11, 2000 – MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc, (MPI) the leading developer of realtime 3D solutions, today announced the first fully correlated sensor product suite on Windows NT‰ at the ITEC trade show being held in The Hague, Netherlands.SensorVision, SensorWorks, RadarWorks, TMM, and MAT provide the ability to construct a single application that simultaneously renders correlated out-the-window, radar, night-vision, and infrared visuals using a single material-classified database.Additionally, SensorVision and Vega Marine now provide the capability to produce maritime applications that include fully correlated out-the-window, night-vision, and infrared capabilities as well.Available on both IRIX and Windows NT, SensorVision and Vega Marine are the first commercial off the shelf products to provide such functionality. SensorWorks compliments SensorVision by providing the capability to simulate a wide range of sensor effects for devices such as night-vision goggles and FLIR sensors.Some of the effects supported include NVG halos/blooming, persistence, fixed-pattern and random temporal noise, blurring, saturation, and sampling artifacts.In addition to specifying effects individually, users may also use a new analytical interface that calculates the appropriate effects based on a input set of specifications for a particular sensor. RadarWorks provides the capability to simulate imaging radar systems including synthetic aperture radar, real-beam ground mapping, and Doppler beam sharpening.RadarWorks uses the same material classified database as SensorVision for a fully correlated simulation and may be augmented using third party RCS generation tools.
