MULTIGEN-PARADIGM ANNOUNCES DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH DISTRIBUTED SIMULATION TECHNOLOGY

MultiGen-Paradigm to Distribute DiSTI's GL Studio as Complementary Module for Vega Prime

LILLE, France - April 9, 2002 - At the International Training and Education Conference (ITEC), MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc., the leading provider of realtime 3D software solutions, today announced a distribution agreement with Distributed Simulation Technology, Inc. (DiSTI®). Under the terms of the agreement, MultiGen-Paradigm will distribute DiSTI's GL Studio™ software as a complementary module for Vega Prime, MultiGen-Paradigm's new visual simulation development and deployment environment.

GL Studio is a rapid prototyping, design and deployment tool for creating realtime 3D photo realistic graphical displays, such as instrumentation and text overlays, for simulation and training applications. GL Studio generates portable C++ and OpenGL source code and can be easily integrated with the highly customizable and extensible architecture of Vega Prime.

"MultiGen-Paradigm is pleased to be able to directly offer our Vega Prime users the features and functionality of DiSTI's GL Studio," said Chris Hawkins, vice president of sales and marketing, MultiGen-Paradigm. "Vega Prime was specifically designed to accept powerful plug-in modules such as GL Studio to provide users with the ability to add or extend functionality to meet their application's particular requirements, and this agreement ideally addresses the graphical status display and instrumentation needs of our customers."

"Distributing GL Studio through MultiGen-Paradigm in association with Vega Prime will broaden the visibility and availability of our product," said Joe Swinski, president of DiSTI. "GL Studio permits users to take photo imagery of any physical device or control interface and build tremendously realistic instrumentation as well as heads up displays, text overlays and electronic flight information systems. By using GL Studio, Vega Prime users will be able to save substantial engineering hours and produce high quality OpenGL compliant instrumentation that fulfill the specific requirements of their applications."
