February 1, 2000 MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc., a pioneer in the field of urban simulation and industry leader in 3D realtime visual simulation, and the Philadelphia Virtual Reality Center, LLC will unveil the Virtual Reality Exhibit at the Franklin Institute Science Museum, open February 1 through June 30, 2000. The exhibit will include hands-on 3D demonstrations and interactive displays utilizing MultiGen-Paradigm's SmartSceneŠ technology. SmartScene is the world's first commercial operator-in-the-loop realtime 3D virtual prototyping and training technology, using first-person viewpoint movement. This exhibit will allow visitors to experience SmartScene's intuitive, two-handed interface in such virtual reality environments as urban planning, urban visualization, virtual prototyping, and other related uses including the development of future spaceports for NASA. The technology includes unrestricted manipulation of objects with unlimited viewpoints.
