MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc. was formed in September 1998 as a result of a merger between MultiGen Inc. (founded in 1981 in San Jose, CA) and Paradigm Simulation, Inc. (founded in 1990 in Dallas, TX). MultiGen-Paradigm was acquired by Computer Associates International in 2000 and then acquired by Parallax Capital Partners in 2006.

MultiGen-Paradigm's products and services support leading corporations, government agencies, and universities worldwide, in several markets, including: commercial simulation, military/space simulation, urban simulation and 3D GIS simulation.

MultiGen-Paradigm's Professional Services Group gives customers unique access to industry-leading realtime 3D expertise, application focused training sessions designed to enhance productivity, direct assistance with database and runtime applications and customized turnkey visual solutions for military and commercial simulators.

Major programs include: Conversion of the Joint Strike Fighter database for the Defense Modeling and Simulation Office, building an F-16 visual training system with Lockheed Martin and Boeing, and the development of an operational concepts development prototyping at the Northrop Grumman CWIN.
